Ethical dilemma is when your security-enabled wireless network has only one bar and you are hardly connected to the internet, going on and off and on and off like a flickering bulb, and you notice that your neighbour’s unsecured wireless network has all 5 bars green. And it’s all so easy, just disconnect from your own, and double-click on theirs. It’s all so, so tempting.
2 compelling solutions. One (staying the way you are and letting the connection irritate the crap out of you) is not even much of a solution, but well, it’s a morally upright one full of that much-priced integrity.
And so you stick with your own nonsense, that flickering bulb effect almost killing you.
You cant do research properly cos every time you click ‘next’ to go to another page it says that ‘internet explorer cant display the webpage’. You try firefox, but they give you this error page with a paragraph of junk which you can’t be bothered to read, your eyes fixated only on the ‘try again’ button. So you try again. Same page.
And so you open a word document and type this all down, vowing to put it on your blog the next time you manage to get on the cursed internet. Of course, you don’t curse; it is just a description which you don’t really subscribe to, but which more or less describes how anal it is. (and OF COURSE you don’t mean it when you say ‘anal’, it is not a cultured term to use for such a cultured person like you.)
Breathe.
